Chris Goldfinger

Chris Goldfinger is one of the most respected and influential figures in reggae and dancehall broadcasting. Best known for hosting the legendary BBC Radio 1 Reggae Dancehall Show, he introduced reggae and dancehall music to mainstream UK audiences for 13 years, from 1996 until 2009. Growing up in Jamaica and attending the prestigious Jamaica College, Goldfinger developed a deep understanding and passion for Caribbean music and culture that has shaped his career.

During his time at BBC Radio 1, he interviewed some of the biggest names in reggae and dancehall, including Damian Marley, Beenie Man, Chaka Demus & Pliers, Capleton, and Barrington Levy.
