Anthony "Pure Silk" Brightly is a pioneering figure in British reggae and sound system culture. As co-founder of Black Slate and original selector of the legendary Sir George Sound, he has spent more than five decades promoting reggae music, Lovers Rock, roots culture and community development. Growing up between Antigua and London, Anthony became part of the generation that helped establish UK reggae on the world stage. Through Sir George Sound and Black Slate, he has performed internationally while helping preserve the culture and heritage of reggae music. Today Anthony continues his work as a broadcaster, producer, festival organiser and filmmaker. Banton B, the original rice ’n’ peas man, has been part of Skyline for 30 years. With over 40 years in music, he’s a veteran DJ, former Jah City Sound selector and now a member of Diamond Force Sound in Wolverhampton.

Big Bad Captain, host of Simmer Down Sundays, is a veteran broadcaster with 38 years on air, award‑winning reggae expertise, global artist interviews, and deep community roots, delivering classic vibes and trusted commentary every week.

Big John New Thousand is a UK dancehall and reggae DJ with 25+ years’ experience. A former Choice and Galaxy FM presenter, he now hosts Skyline’s Dancehall Explosion, plays global events and features on tracks like Reuben James’ “Ambulance”.

Chris Goldfinger is a renowned reggae and dancehall DJ, broadcaster, and international entertainer best known for hosting the BBC Radio 1 Reggae Dancehall Show for 13 years. Born and raised in Jamaica, he has become one of the most influential voices in Caribbean music, interviewing legendary artists including Damian Marley, Beenie Man, Capleton, and Barrington Levy. Following his success at Radio 1, Goldfinger continued to build his global reputation through radio, live events, and international tours across Jamaica, Africa, and Europe. His acclaimed Reggae Dancehall Show is now broadcast on more than 20 radio stations worldwide, bringing authentic reggae and dancehall culture to audiences across the globe.

Country Judah, co‑founder of C&C Music, was Skyline’s first DJ in 1988. A long‑standing broadcaster and station leader, he’s helped shape Skyline’s growth while delivering quality music and supporting talent across the community.

DJ CountryMan is a Birmingham reggae and dancehall veteran with over 30 years in music. A former member of the legendary Love Injection Sound System, broadcaster, host, and selector, he continues to champion reggae culture through radio, events, and community entertainment.

Daddy Skippa, founder of Skippa & Lippy International, has been DJing since age 10. A Wolverhampton legend, he’s played across the UK, Europe and Africa, hosted radio since the 80s and continues to share timeless reggae with passion and experience.

DJ Bangi brings fresh urban energy with new releases, Hip‑Hop, R&B, Reggae, Dancehall and retro vibes. A veteran selector since 1991, former Kebra Negust soundman and World Clash 1994 finalist, he’s been a Skyline favourite for decades.

DJ Sensi has been entertaining since 2005, known for versatile sets across reggae, R&B, soul, Afrobeats and dancehall. With an 11‑year residency at Manhattan’s Pub and UK‑wide shows, he brings energy, experience and positive vibes every time.
