Tia B is a dynamic radio presenter, DJ and MC with a lifelong passion for music and a deep connection to sound system culture. Her musical journey began in childhood, inspired by her older brothers — DJs who helped shape her early love for reggae, soul and underground sounds.
In 1990, she was selected by Alamantando, a respected figure within the sound system community, to join a pioneering female sound system. This milestone became the foundation of her career, giving her the platform to develop her voice, style and confidence as a performer.
Today, Tia B is an all‑round DJ and MC known for her versatility and vibrant energy. Her selections span Reggae, Revival, Dancehall, R&B, Hip‑Hop, Funky House, Garage, Afrobeat and Soul — embracing every genre that moves the crowd and brings people together.
